Josiane is a Senior Instructional Technology Specialist at the University of Manitoba, where she focuses on empowering individuals through the effective use of technology. She brings a strong technical background, holding ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Professional Google Cloud Architect, and Google Cloud Digital Leader certifications, as well as a Master's degree in Production Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Passionate about fostering inclusivity and growth in tech, Josiane is actively involved as a Women Techmakers (WTM) and a Google Developer Group (GDG) Organizer for Winnipeg.

I’m a web developer. I spend my whole day, practically every day, experimenting with HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, TypeScript and related frameworks/libraries (ranging from React in the frontend to Express
in the backend). I also build mobile apps with React Native. I’m an agile learner and I enjoy work that
challenges me to learn something new and stretch in a different direction. I do my best to stay on top of
changes in the state of the art so that I can meet challenges with tools well suited to the job at hand
Erica Silva, GDG Canada East Mentor - Winnipeg / WTM Ambassador
Erica is a Technology professional who has been working in Tech for the past 20 years. She has played different roles such as Project Manager, System Analyst and Software Developer.
She is a big fan of knowledge sharing, passionate about technology, and loves volunteering and helping her community. Currently, Erica is the Winnipeg organizer of Women Techmakers (WTM) and Google Developer Group (GDG). She also helps the Brazilian community. She is the President of the Brazilian Citizenship Council in Winnipeg (CCBW) and Board Member Director of the Brazilian Association in Winnipeg (BRASIW).
Lysandra Lima, Project Analyst
Lysandra holds a Bachelor degree in Administration majoring in Business and postgraduate in System Analysis. She has formal training and experience in project management, quality assurance, process improvement and business analysis, in the areas of health care, tourism, finance and technology. She's proficient, highly motivated, and loves challenges & teamwork. In addition, she has a high level of commitment with the results. She an organizer and member of the Brazil Citizenship Council in Winnipeg as well as a Google Developers Group Winnipeg Organizer. Currently, Lysandra is a Project Manager at Sicoob where she works on several software development projects in the banking and cooperative segments. Lysandra's hobbies are jogging, playing volleyball, and watching movies. Moreover, she loves spending time with her family and friends; and learning & sharing knowledge and experiences.
