The Gay Outdoor Club operates throughout Great Britain and provides a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports and recreational activities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender men and women. Check out our website: http://www.goc.org.uk/ .
Our 1,500 members enjoy over 500 events each year including walking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, caving, rock climbing, mountaineering, skiing, swimming and badminton. Most of our events are one day but we also organise longer events such as wild camping and hostelling weekends and our famous Highland Hogmanay.

A circular walk from North Berwick, climbing North Berwick Law
A walk of approximately eight miles starting from this popular East Lothian town, taking in the beach, farmland and climbing The Law for extensive views of the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock. North Berwick is accessible by rail from Edinburgh.
Meet 10:30 at North Berwick railway station
Route: 8 miles flat walk along the beach then cutting inland on country lanes to join the John Muir way to North Berwick Law, which we will climb, returning to the railway station at N. Berwick
Public Transport is available: Train from Edinburgh Waverly. The 09:43 arrives at N. Berwick at 10:16. Return trains are every half hour at 21 mins past and 50 mins past the hour.
Food / Drinks: Please bring a packed lunch. We will find a cafe in North Berwick for refreshments afterwards
