Talk 1: Use FUSE inside Docker images
Although there are several shared read/write ("ReadWriteMany") persistent volume types available in Kubernetes (AzureFile, CephFS, Glusterfs, NFS and others), often they have high setup overhead. In this talk, I will explain, through a real use case encountered by the Container Solutions team, how mounting a Google Cloud storage bucket inside containers with FUSE (file system in userspace) can be a simpler solution. I will go over the pros, cons, possibilities and limitations of utilising FUSE filesystem mounts with containers, plus security implications.

Talk 2: CI/CD Pipelines with Jenkins and OpenShift
OpenShift is not just a Kubernetes based Container Platform, OpenShift is an Application Development platform, with all the right tooling and workflow available to quickly get you started with your Software Development Lifecycle.
Samuel will explain the OpenShift concepts from Source code to Docker image (Source-2-Image) and how this becomes a 1-click deployment without any effort of setup. Using the integrated Jenkins he will demonstrate out-of-the-box CI/CD pipelines that scale for any workload.
