ABOUT THE TALK
The exponential growth of IoT devices combined with unreliable networks, and the increasing demand for privacy, can add significant extra complexity to your software. In the face of such instability and increasing customer expectations, how can developers deliver immersive, uninterrupted user experiences within their apps? In this session, we will review some real-life use cases and proposed architectures on how to solve those issues and show how Couchbase Lite, an open-source embedded NoSQL database and Sync Gateway, an open-source synchronization middleware, can make this process a lot easier.
ABOUT DENIS ROSA
Denis is a developer advocate at Couchbase and organizer of the Developer Relations Meetup in Munich. He started programming before college and hasn't stopped coding since. He is Java & NoSQL specialist, open-source contributor and an enthusiast of Microservices & DevOps.
Currently Denis is writing a book about data persistency and working on a few side projects while trying to read as many books as he can.
