What we're about

Want to stay in shape? Lose weight? Get into nature more? Make friends? Then this group is for you!

Some of the activities that we will do in the group are things like:
Conservation Area Hikes (Durham Forest, Heber Down, Lynde Shores, ex). Nature Walks. Basically anything that will help us be outdoors more, or stay active.

If you are looking to get out of the house more and haven't hiked much in the past, or if you have been out a few times, or even if you are advanced and looking for some harder trails, this group is for you. We will have hikes for different levels. Welcome to the group... go ahead and RSVP for one of our upcoming events!

[FREE] Seaton Hiking Trail

Seaton Hiking Trail

Seaton Trail is another beautiful hiking area up near the Pickering area. This is an intermediate hike.

We will strive for between 7-10 kms. There are some sections with hills that will get your heart rate up.

Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. Chances are there will be mud in the shaded forest areas.

The Seaton Trail in Pickering generally follows West Duffins Creek and stretches from Highway 7 in Green River through Whitevale.

We will be meeting at the Seaton Trail Parking Lot off Hwy #7 in Green River (https://goo.gl/maps/JyE7aqixuut5jQab8). There is a small parking lot just off the Hwy. This is a very busy parking lot, so please arrive early or share ride where possible.

If you get lost call my cell[masked].

We leave for the hike at 10:10am SHARP.

NOTE:
Please follow all Covid-19 rules and recommendations. PLEASE BRING A MASK.
