Howdy folks. I thought I would abuse my position as co-organizer of this group to promote something I've been working on.

I've recently self-published a book called "The Grumpy Programmer's Guide To Building Testable Applications In PHP". It's a project I started on at the beginning of November and cranked it out in about two months. It's 60 pages of pragmatic advice on how to build your PHP applications in such a way that currently-available testing tools like PHPUnit can be used to test your application.

The web site for the book is and I encourage you to check it out. If you are bold enough to order a printed copy of the book via Lulu I would be happy to autograph the book for you at one of our meetings.

I will also be giving away a free copy of the ebook to one lucky attendee at our next meeting.
