Historic Interpretive Hike Series: Pentagass Road to the Village of Nunda

GVGSP is again offering the Historic Interpretive Hike Series. Each hike incorporates the history of the town in which it is located. The guide will also point out historic canal and railroad features and interesting natural features along the way. Hikes will be held on the second Saturday of each month, April through October, will begin at 10 am and last approximately 2 hours, depending on the length of the hike. In general, the GVG is an easy flat trail with a mixed surface of grass, cinders and stone dust.
The individual hikes are are part of the 14 hikes in the Wegmans Passport to Wellness Program. Completion of hikes in this series makes the trail user eligible for Wegmans grocery coupons and/or a NYS Parks Empire Passport. See details at http://www.fogvg.org/trail_user/passport_program.php
