The Chosen have completed training and on their 16th birthday the five young adventurers were escorted to the city of Four Points to meet the priests and learn of the prophecy and their role.
The principality was formed 100 years ago by Evan a paladin of Iomede. He broke the power of the dark god and tamed the land. Pushing out the evil races allowing the good people to settle the region and prosper. And they did for 84 years, but then the aging Evan died and many of his companions had scattered through the world. The principality is strong and well run, but the forces have begun testing the borders, raiding and expanding their reach into the lands protected by the City of Evanston.
As it was foreseen, the chosen who were born on the day of Evans death have reached their age of independence and now with all the training they could receive without harming the prophecy have been gathered and are ready to begin their adventure into this world.
The priests have told them they are now just like any citizen of the land and can receive no more assistance then a normal citizen. Their path is their own, but the prophecy says they will accomplish great things and bring peace and prosperity to the area once again.
How and when this will occur is not clear and the players fates are in their hands.

The young adventurers headed to the forest north of the principality to see what they could learn about the Goblin advances. On the way a couple of thieves rob one of their family farms of some livestock. The group tracks them down and with the help of a couple of guards find and defeat the two villains. The first victory by the group as the learn what capabilities they really do have. With the guard escorting the living rogue back to town, they head make plans to head deeper into the woods.
On the second day of their venture, they run into some goblin scouts. The group defeated these creatures with the help of their trusty animal companions, the Large badger and dog that travel with them. Even as they sleep, the wild attacks them with a venomous snake slithering into camp during the night. Luckily they were able to defeat it without anyone succumb to its poison.

With a fresh day they began to track the goblin scouts back into the heavy woods. The foliage is thick and the canopy blocking out the sun. After about a half a day they lose the track but continue in the direction it had been going. On the way they found a small bandit camp deep in the woods, as they approached they were ambushed by the rogues, but the chosen, though young and inexperience prevailed. This was a fortunate turn of events providing much needed cash that will allow them to better equip when they return to a town. For now a wandering hunter agreed to escort the one living rogue back to the town guards, allowing the chosen to push on. After another day of travel they ran into a bigger Goblin band skirting the Western edge of the heavy woods as they rounded from the southern side, with both sides somewhat surprised the fight was a little chaotic but the goblins were beaten and more loot added to their coffers.
This experience has allowed them to expand their capabilities and increase the power.
