Let's try a new venue that's generally west of Boston! Dirigible Brewing is a huge proponent of board games and has a very well attended monthly Sunday afternoon board game event. They are letting us use some space for testing, and have offered to advertise for public play testers if we're interested. We'll try to make sure everyone who attends gets their game to the table, so bring your prototypes to share or stop by to play and support local designers.

Dirigible is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 2 and 495, so it should be accessible to those of us who are wicked far west. Outside food is welcome, and they will sometimes have food trucks available, but outside drinks are not allowed.

Key details:

1. Sat, Jul 18th, Beacon Hill, Boston MA: Church on the Hill.
2. This event is hosted by the Boston Game Makers Guild, but everyone is welcome to attend.
3. Fellow board gamer (and designer!) Hien was kind enough to offer the Game Makers Guild this amazing venue to open up as a board game DAY for all!
4. The venue is walkable from the Green, Blue, and Orange Lines. There is also meter parking on Bowdoin Street. The app Spot Hero may be helpful.
5. Food and drink are allowed inside, but absolutely no alcohol or smoking anywhere on the premises.
6. "All day" playtesting in multi-hour blocks, and join for open playtesting after the last block!
7. If you are a playtester and arrive during a block, we cannot guarantee to fit you into a game. If you are a designer and arrive during a block, we cannot guarantee you playtesters.
8. This will ***not ***be our annual GMG membership meeting. Expect that in Jul or Aug.
9. Yes, free PIZZA dinner compliments of your fellow GMG members. Would you like to help make events like this happen too? Then, please make an annual donation here ($50/yr goes a long, long way to help your fellow game designers!)
10. No cost (unless you'd like to donate above, but honestly, no cost!)
11. Anyone is welcome, including your favorite play testers. Any minors will need an adult while they're there.
12. Food plan: Bring/buy your own lunch. Pizza dinner ~7PM.

Let's try something new--playtesting at Tavern of Tales! This could be a great venue to find non-designers as playtesters for your game,

A few key points:

1. This is in conjunction with their weekly boardgame night, so you'll have to register on their website here (Note: The Mar 3rd event is not yet posted to their events page--please keep checking!)
2. Not free: Per their event description, you'll be expected to spend $15+ on food/drinks. Please expect to provide a credit card or ID (if using cash) upon entry to the event.

Convenient to Roxbury Crossing and Ruggles. Let's try this two or three times and see what happens!
