Global Game Jam 2017

The Global Game Jam is a 48-hour in-person event to make new games over a weekend. A theme is announced Friday night and we'll form teams to create games based on the theme. Sunday night, each team will do a short presentation of their game. The public is invited to the presentations.

Preparation

Go to the official Global Game Jam Game Dev Lou location page (http://globalgamejam.org/2017/jam-sites/gamedevlou) and click "Join This Jam Site" in the top-right. You'll have to create an account if you don't already have one.

Who should come?

Anyone interested in making games. Most of us make video games, but people who want to make card games or board games are also welcome.

7:00pm-8:00pm: Introductions and Theme announcement.

8:00pm-2:00am: Team forming, and game concept brainstorming

Saturday

9:00am-2:00am: work on games

Sunday

9:00am-7:00pm: Work on games

7:00pm-9:00pm: Game presentations! Invite your friends and family to check out your new game!
