First-timers to Ganja Yoga or yoga in general should consume less cannabis than they usually do, so the experience of yoga is enhanced. Everyone's relationship to cannabis is different. Is it safe? What if I haven't done yoga before? Ganja Yoga is about experiencing something beautiful and trippy and cool inside yourself. Most of the time our eyes are all closed, so its about relaxing in an introverted way, without caring what others are doing. Our flow is slow, mindful, and relaxation-based. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is paid street parking, or its just a few minutes walk from BART. We recommend Lyft or BART. “Ganja Yoga clears the mind and relaxes the body with the perfect blend of socialising, medicating and stretching. It is a must try for anyone in search of unique experiences but be aware that once you have been to the studio, you might get hooked.” - Robert

What we're about

Ganja Yoga is the original cannabis-enhanced yoga, taught by author Dee Dussault, since 2009.

Featured in The New York Times, Business Insider, Newsweek, The Washington Post, Vice, 7X7, and New York Magazine: Ganja Yoga for relaxation, pain-relief, well-being, community, and the cultivation of inner peace.

Less physically-intense than most yoga, Ganja Yoga is high-quality instruction, based on mindfulness and good alignment for injury-prevention, - designed for any body. We are an awesome group of students from all walks of life. People with all levels to yoga or experience with cannabis are welcome at our classes, and we have a variety of complimentary cannabis options to choose from. Along with providing organic, sun-grown, lab-tested cannabis, we create the space for relaxation and community at our numerous yoga classes and healing-arts events.

Dee Dussault is a yoga practitioner of twenty-three years, and her book, Ganja Yoga, was released with Harper Collins in April 2017. She has taught taught thousands of people in The SF Bay Area, as well and over 13 US cities.

She finds good teachers to work with.
