Join us at the Tempe Public Library for Growing the Sugar Cane Plant!
We will be in Meeting Room A for the class for this special FREE class about the amazing Sugar Cane Plant plant.
We lots of Sugar Cane growing at the Garden Pool. It is a tropical plant and can be grown with grey water!
Sugar Cane plants are easy to grow and adapt well to many climates. They can be grown in sun or partial shade, container grown on a patio or green house, and even indoors by a sunny warm window. In the landscape they can grow to about 7-14 feet tall in one year.
The Sugar Cane class will focus on three parts:
• How to grow a Sugar Cane to harvest
• How to process Sugar Cane
• Nutritional properties of Sugar Cane
We will have plenty of organically grown Sugar Cane plants for sale for those who want to start growing their own Sugar Cane plants! Right now is the best time to plant.
