Rishal Hurbans is hosting an AI hackathon (the first ever in Joburg) at Entelect.
Rishal is a team/tech lead at Entelect and the founder of Prolific Idea. He would like to kickstart an AI-programming meetup in Joburg.
This hackathon will compromise of a quick/informal introduction to AI concepts/libraries - 10-15 minutes
Thereafter, everyone will be pair-programming (or even programming on your own), building some type of basic AI.
No prior knowledge about AI is required. Your curiosity, and eagerness to learn will be enough.
Most of the libraries being used will be Python and JavaScript based.
Requirements:

Laptop with Python/Node installed (Your preference).

Have a look at the scikit learn library for machine learning (http://scikit-learn.org/).
Rishal will update everyone closer to the meetup if any other libraries/languages need to be installed as well
