What we're about

Geek Girls Carrots (http://gocarrots.org/) is a global grassroots organisation focused on attracting women to tech. We create community by organising meetings, workshops, and other events which gather people to share their knowledge and experience. We bring together female admins, analysts, application architects, developers, graphic designers, IT managers, programmers, social media specialists, system architects, project managers, women with startup ideas, computer science students and many more.

Nowadays Geek Girls Carrots is present in Poland, Germany, UK, Japan, Portugal, Switzerland, Holland, Israel, South Korea and the Czech Republic. Since 2011, meetings have taken place in 33 cities, 15 countries. Till 2015 we’ve conducted about 250 regular community meet-ups, 551 speakers, 31 extra events, 147 workshops in Python, JavaScript, Scrum, UX.
