  • Read the Book / See the Movie

    Needs a location

The GPS Read the Book/See the Movie club was the first club for GPS (then MiSFiTS), with the goal to expand our reading and film horizons by comparing and contrasting films to their source material. The club has become an education in literary and film history as well as an education in how the film industry adapts written material. We meet on the second Friday of every month. Social time at 7:00 pm – movie beings promptly at 7:30 pm. Our gathering location rotates between Event Horizon (aka the Waterbury Building) and among club members’ homes. Feel free to bring a snack to share! For the meetup location or if you have any questions about the club, please email organizers at [masked] .
