Wild nights in the urban jungle

Every Friday night in June and July, London Zoo opens after hours and invites you to explore the wilds of the ultimate urban jungle. Minus kids and plus booze - what's not to love?!

Monkeys go ape and birds of paradise strut their stuff with animal talks, improvised comedy, twisted cabaret, roving performances, pop up bars, street food festival, acoustic stages, carousel rides, the incredibly short film festival and approximately 17500 creatures great and small.

Zoo Lates tickets also include access to the brand new Tiger Territory (http://www.zsl.org/zsl-london-zoo/exhibits/tiger-territory/) . Delve deep into the lush foliage of the Indonesian jungle, as you get closer than ever before to one of nature’s most awesome predators, the Sumatran tiger.

Zoo Lates runs from 6-10pm and is an over 18s only event. No BYO glass or alcohol.

We went last year, it was a small group, but we had some of the best fun in the Geek Chic Calender! Imagine walking around with a glass of wine watching the lions and gorillas and we even saw a cobra eating a chicken! Ew.

Cost and Booking

The Geek Chic discounted tickets are now sold out.

You can now:

1. Buy a normal priced ticket for £25 here:

Please put yourself on the Waiting List and let me know when you've bought your ticket and I will bump you up to Attending.

2. Put yourself on the Waiting List for a discounted ticket. If an existing Attendee cancels, I will inform you, in waiting list order, if a discounted ticket becomes available. It's not likely there'll be more than 1 or 2 cancellations, but you might want to take a chance.

Discounted tickets for Geek Chic Members are £13.25.

Discounted tickets for Non-members are £16.25.

Meeting up

We'll meet between 6pm - 6.30pm inside the Zoo gates, but outside the ticket barriers. For any late-comers, I will leave your ticket at the desk, but it's tricky because the actual 'tickets' are all on one page, so please do your best to arrive before 6.30pm.

I'll have a Meetup sign and my number will be in comments the day before the event.

OMG - I've been twice already and it's been so much fun, I can't wait to go again!
