You're not embarrassed to see a movie about Queen are you? Queen was a fabulous band!
All the older kids and cool adults I grew up around in my neighbourhood listened to them all the time and that's how I got to know them (and other rock bands). Some of my favourite bands today were influenced by Queen - like Muse, Hot Hot Heat, Daft Punk, Panic at the Disco, Lady Gaga, Nirvana..... I'm sure there's tons.
They're also one of the reasons why I'm so into music and write and play so many instruments.
A film for Geeky Science types.....
Anyone interested in seeing "Journey to Space" at the Ontario Science Centre in IMAX on Sunday Nov 4th at 1:00pm? This movie is 45mins.
Since this is not a long film, this is currently an FYI event to see if there is any interest. If so, I will make this Meetup official.
PLEASE RSVP BY NOVEMBER 1st
Cost = $9 without an Ontario Science Centre Membership.
After the movie we can go for coffee, tea & snacks or whatever the group decides.
SCIENCE CENTRE info about the film:
