Title: Predicting Dengue Fever Spread with Neural Networks & Time Series Analysis

Speaker: Leith Akkawi

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease spreading to more than a half-billion cases per year. http://Drivendata.org held a competition where more than 2000 data scientist participated in predicting the number of dengue fever cases reported each week in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Iquitos, Peru. Please join me on December 5th, where I will be discussing a solution architecture based on neural networks and time series analysis that ranked in the top 100 of the leaderboard.

About Leith:

Leith is a Data Scientist, Senior Consultant with the Predictive Enterprise team at Neudesic in Chicago. His specialties include machine learning programming in R
