Picnic Island Park: Paint your own wine glass, disc golf, and lunch!

Let's go to Picnic Island Park for an afternoon of fun and creativity! Maria will be hosting a fantastic art event where we can paint our own wine glasses with our very own geeky or wintery themes... imagine that, painting outside in the winter next to the beach! How lucky are we!? We'll also have some really cool Star Wars stencils for those Jedi and Sith among us.

There are other "Paint Your Own Wine Glass" events that charge $25+ to do exactly what we can do on our own because we're strong independent geeks who don't need no corporate involvement!

We have reserved pavilion #602 - it is toward the far end of the park and right on the shore. The pavilion reservation cost was $53.50, so please bring $5 or more to give to Maria who paid the reservation cost in full!

In addition, even if you aren't into painting... Picnic Island Park has a disc golf course which we can play on! This is also a great park to bring your dogs!

What will you need?
-Your own wine glasses to paint ($1 at dollar tree).
-Anything else you might want to paint, like Christmas ornaments
-Lunch!
-$5 or more contribution to Maria the day of the event.
