Hi everyone!
This is just the group if you're looking to meet new friends, Sharing some good times, and making new social connections.
We are all about having fun and trying new and interesting things, mainly around the Geelong area.
We're looking for anyone who is up for fun hangouts e.g. Movies, lunches, Dinners, Pub quizzes, Exercise, etc. in the local Geelong area.
We've tried to make the group as inclusive as possible and always welcome new members and organizers.
If you have any ideas about new events or things we could do, please send me or any other organizers a message so we can make it happen.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, whether you're quiet as a mouse or a social butterfly wanting to spread their wings!!!

We believe in the golden rule: Don't be a dick. If anyone is bullying or harassing another member of this group, they will be immediately deleted from this group. This also includes sending unsolicited mail to pretty girls in the vague hope of getting in their pants.
In the words of a very wise woman, "It's a hang out-group. If folks feel the chemistry that flowers from hanging out. Awesome. But hanging out in a safe space IS what I see this group as offering, yes?"
I reckon we would all agree with that. So, if someone chooses to behave in a manner that others find unacceptable, you're out. No trial, No appeals, No second chances.

Sunday Rippleside Walk
Rippleside, Western Beach, Geelong, AUDistance: Approx. 4kms
Meet: At the bottom of the stairs leading to the water from the cafe.
A scenic stroll from Rippleside to Cunningham Pier and back! This route is packed with gorgeous bay views and plenty of park benches if you fancy a quick breather or just want to soak in the scenery.
We’re a mixed bunch when it comes to speed—from energetic power walkers to those who prefer a more relaxed "stop and smell the roses" pace. As hosts, we encourage everyone to find their own groove, so feel free to walk at the speed that feels right for you. Just a heads-up: a basic level of fitness will help you get the most out of the day.
The best part? After we've conquered the return leg, we'll be stopping at Cafe No. 42 for a well-deserved coffee and a chat. It’s the perfect way to wind down and refuel with the group.***
