We've all heard the adage of, "It's not what you know, it's who you know."

If we really break that down, we can see that it refers to hard skills versus soft skills.

Hard skills are defined as skills you gain through education, training, certifications, and on-the-job experience. Soft skills are interpersonal (i.e. people) skills that are much harder to define and evaluate, yet they are equally as valuable as hard skills.

Soft skills include creative thinking, problem-solving, networking, communication, and emotional intelligence.

This course will help you develop your own soft skills by auditing real-world scenarios, examining case studies, and diving into the cognitive principles behind why soft skills work.

Takeaways
Gain confidence in your networking approach both in-person and online
Understand the nuances interpersonal engagement on a deeper psychological level that you can apply to both your personal as well as your professional career
Learn ways you can continually grow yourself through on-going applications and sharpening of your soft skills
