We will study and apply together Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in English.

This is a revolutionary way of relating authentically with yourself and others through building consciousness around: Empathy and Self-Empathy, Compassion, Emotional Freedom, Self-Expression among others essential elements!

The goal is to grow our capacity to communicate and exist in Truth from the Heart.

[IN-PERSON & ONLINE] Practice to speak and receive from the heart

COLIFE Studio Pâquis

[Resuming in-person as before lockdown. Both those and Zoom sessions usually to be held separately on Sundays... but this one is hybrid!] This practice session will be facilitated by Jay Last and the theme will be "Expressing Needs", related to Chapter 5 – "Taking Responsibility for Our Feelings" from Marshall Rosenberg's book "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life". General introduction: We will study and apply together Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in English. Practical information: If you are brand-new to NVC, please read or watch an introduction so you can come with questions and the first ideas about it: http://www.meetup.com/Geneva-NVC-Practice/messages/boards/thread/49971513 . In addition, at 19:45 we will be in the changing room to give a general introduction and answer questions, before the actual practice session starts inside the studio at 20:00. If you come early, please wait on the 4th floor's landing for the previous group to leave before entering the place (after their class ends at 19:30), and be a bit quiet as they are chanting or meditating, or wait downstairs. Wear comfy clothes, as we sit on cushions and mats. We also would like to take good care of the wooden floor: please leave your shoes before entering the studio, and store all your belongings (clothes, bags, and especially any heavy or sharp object) to the mezzanine upstairs. Suggested donation is 5+ CHF for the expenses of the room and NVC Geneva. NVC Geneva and CNVSuisse.ch at Alternatiba Léman festival

NVC Geneva supports connection, harmony and alternatives to violence at the personal, community and global level. We unite and inspire each other to effectively support access to NVC to the international community in and around Geneva. Together with CNVSuisse.ch will hold a booth to popularize NVC at the Alternatiba Léman festival, which should be taking place over the full day of Sat 26 Sept in parc des Bastions this year. More information about Alternatiba Léman, at some point will be including full programme and map: http://www.alternatibaleman.org We hope to have your support, and meet your family, friends, colleagues who might have there an opportunity for a first contact with NVC. We'll try to have a continuous presence on our booth (zone "I" = Éducation pour enfants et adultes), and have communicated on the following schedule for special sessions : • Introduction à la CNV (30 min, English speakers welcome!) à 10h, 12h, 14h, 16h et 18h • Jeux pour enfants et adultes, autour de la CNV (20 min, English speakers welcome!) à 11h, 13h, 15h et 17h At Alternatiba the NVC Geneva tent will be up during the whole day. The Art of Couple Communication for Flourishing Relationship

To overcome frustration and discouragement and move towards an enriching relationship, this workshop offers you a privileged space to explore an approach to take care of your couple. Tired of sterile dialogues with your partner? Dissatisfied with how to manage differences? Frustrated at not being heard? Knowing how to communicate and listen to yourself in a couple is something that can be learned. Whether you are currently in a relationship or alone, this workshop offers you a privileged space, in a context of security and trust to take care of your relationship with the support of NonViolent Communication. It will allow you to discuss the joys and challenges in couple life and find more choices around the following questions: How can I take care of myself, the other, the relationship? What do we offer to each other? What needs do I want to nourish with my partner; what are my other needs? What are the frustrations that I have not dared to express so far? How can I make myself fully heard and hear the other? How to promote more fluid and light communication? The following sliding scale fee structure is designed to keep our services accessible and is loosely based at 10 to 32 CHF / hour of instruction for workshops and series.
