What is probabilistic programming and Bayesian statistics? Which are their applications and limitations?

In his talk, Marco will locate Bayesian networks in the current AI landscape, gently introduce Bayesian reasoning and computation and how to implement generative models in R. If time permits, examples from academia and industry will be discussed.
