December meetup: Geospatial Data Science

We hope you can join us for our December virtual meetup! The event will start with a networking session, move to lightning talks, and dive into Q&A. Here are our presenters:

Juan Sebastian Lozano works in data science, machine learning, and geospatial analysis related to issues of violent conflict and development. He will discuss how to make geospatial workflows reproducible and how that can lead to a richer community.

Jay Etherton is a Data Scientist/Epidemiologist. He will present a model assessing the impact Climate Change & Zoonotic Spillover on human health, and the role geospatial tech and AI models play in the model.
