Maps in the Government

Details
The November Geo meetup on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:00 pm will look at how different government agencies are using maps in their operations and to communicate about their work. Our speakers will talk about the unique geospatial opportunities at their agencies, what they're doing, what their barriers are to better using geodata and maps, and show off a project they're excited about.
So far, we have three speakers on the lineup:
Jerry Johnston, geographic information officer at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tony LaVoi, GIO at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Michael Byrne (http://twitter.com/#!/Byrne_Tweets), GIO at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) If you have any questions you'd like these folks to answer, please post here or tweet at @geonerdsdc (http://twitter.com/#!/geonerdsdc).
The Geo meetup meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at Stetson's. Join our group to receive announcements about future events.
