Geospatial & Remote Sensing Technology

For October, we have an exciting lineup showcasing industry applications of cutting-edge geospatial technology, including remote sensing:

Jason Casey, CEO at BeamIO (http://beamio.co/), will talk about TileDriver, a geospatial, remote sensing, and image processing platform, and how they've used it to support environmental, landfill, and disaster relief efforts.

Rob Miller, USG Account Manager at HawkEye 360 (http://www.he360.com/), will discuss survey and mapping of the radio-frequency spectrum and the implications to monitoring human activity on Earth, from emergency response, to countering illegal fishing, to supporting national defense.

Patrick Dufour, Founder and CEO of Spatial Current, will present a new platform under development for Internet-scale geospatial search and visualization using natural language queries. Patrick will highlight lessons learned for integrating emergent technologies into GIS.
