This month, our theme is boundaries and borders. Inspired by a recent American Geographical Society event on this topic, GeoDC has invited several presenters to discuss the intricacies how how we define the physical limits of and divide up our world.

Greg Poling from the Center for Strategic and International Studies will talk about boundaries in one of the most complex geopolitical spaces in the world: the South China Sea.

AJ Ashton from MapBox will talk about using & managing boundary data. He will share some challenges that come up when combining data from different sources and how he deals with them.

GeoDC is a fantastic networking and educational opportunity. Everyone is welcome, including experts and beginners.
