What makes you a geonerd?

I can tell you the spec for every satellite that captures images of under 20 meter resolution. I enjoy talking about different compression and imaging algorithms. I like to talk about measurable room for data improvement and then actually measuring it. I enjoy telling people things like "your average bowling ball is actually closer to a sphere than the earth is."

I am many years in the Geo-spatial industry. I studied at GMU and UCL. University of London is a great place for a GIS degree, by the way. Working at USDA where we use enormous amounts of data. Looking to get some interesting projects going at work.
