Mapping Party

This new year we are starting GeoHYD with a mapping party. On Sunday 15th Jan, we will be working on improving the openstreetmap (http://www.openstreetmap.org/) (OSM) data for Hyderabad. You will be introduced to OSM, FieldPapers (http://fieldpapers.org/) and other map service provider tools for making maps.

Bring laptops with mouse(hard without it) or Install Maps.me (http://maps.me/en/home)if you want use mobile phones or tablets.

We will be continuing these mapping parties every month apart from regular monthly meetup.

And as always the location of meetup changes every month so as to make you travel the city and understand its Geography. This meetup will be at Collab House, a hacker space in Hyderabad.
