Map creation with qGIS

At Gramener, we're organising a qGIS based map creation workshop on Wednesday, 24th October 2018 (2 to 4pm).

Several Gramener colleagues will join the workshop, we'd also like to have other interested folks to join and hence making this event public.

What
The goal of the workshop is to create division (multiple districts are grouped as a division for administration purposes) level maps for Indian states/UTs. These maps will be put up on datameet's GitHub repository for public use.

Format
All participants will be divided into teams. Each team will be assigned a set of states for which division-level maps should be created. I'll be guiding the teams.

Prerequisites
qGIS needs to be pre-installed. Familiarity with shapefiles, GeoJSON, TopoJSON formats is useful but not necessary.
