About us
Katie Reifert Volleyball Camps, hosted at George Washington University, offers chances to watch, play and learn the game of volleyball from the GW Volleyball coaching staff. Outside of our regular season matches, we also host open gyms and adult clinics at the Smith Center. We welcome volleyball enthusiasts of all skills and ages to join our group!
What Camp Is Right For Me?
We aim to release camp dates in blocks of four, offering each of the following options so players can choose the training focus that best fits their goals.
Offensive Skills I - Technique
Choose this camp if you want to clean up your mechanics & build a stronger technical foundation. This session focuses on armswing, approach, timing, & learning different ways to score.
Offensive Skills II - Situational Offense
Choose this camp if you already feel solid with your mechanics & want more game-like reps. This session emphasizes pass-to-attack, transition, & off-blocker situations in faster, multi-contact drills.
Defensive Skills & Setting Skills Camp
Choose this camp if you want to improve your defense or you are a setter looking for high-level, individualized training. Defenders will work on floor skills & out-of-system setting, while setters will train both setting & defense/blocking.
Serve & Pass Skills Camp
Choose this camp if you want to level up your serve first-contact. This session is all about becoming more consistent & confident in serving & serve-receive passing.
