Recreational Kayak Class (No Skirt Reqd)

The Georgia Canoe Association (GCA) is offering 3 Recreational Paddling Classes in June 2013. All classes are taught by ACA certified instructors. These classes will cover basic safety, strokes, and other essentials of recreational paddling. Suitable boats include recreational or touring kayaks, sit on top kayaks and canoes.

They will take place on various beginner rivers and lakes in the GA, NC, TN Tri-State area. The participation fee is $35.00 for members and $70.00 for non-members (includes a GCA membership).

Participation requires that you bring your own boat, pfd (life preserver), paddle, helmet, etc. In some cases there may be an outfitter nearby where you can rent a boat. Additionally boats can be rented from The Outside World. For further information contact the instructor on the dates you are interested.
