A day at the Columbia Zoo. This wonderful family event is for all ages. We will carpool to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC, and return by 5pm. Bring your lunch for a picnic next to the Columbia River. There are botanical gardens, animals shows, zip line, a sky high safari and of course the animals! Pay at the door. Join us to hike the Turkey Creek Trail, 5-6 miles, at the rate of about 2mph. This beautiful trail follows Turkey Creek and makes you feel like you’re in the foothills of Georgia. Join us for a leisurely and enjoyable 12 to 16 mile bicycle ride thru North Augusta’s Greeneway. We will meet at the Greeneway parking lot under Georgia Avenue by the River Golf Club; 307 Riverside Blvd, North Augusta, SC 29841. After the ride, lunch will be at The Barbecue Barn or the Purple Hull for great barbecue, veggies, and conversation. Helmets are required and air up those tires.
