• What we'll do
We will teach our members the 7 benefits of strength training...

1. Lose Body Fat. Weight training builds muscle
2. Gain Strength Without Bulking Up
3. Decrease Risk of Osteoporosis.
4. Reduce Risk of Injury.
5. Burn More Calories.
6. Improve Posture and Reduce Back Pain.
7. Enhance Mood and Reduce Stress.

Our members will be taught the correct form for each exercise. The key to not getting injured is to have near perfect technique - then gradually increase the load or weight over time.

We will also discuss how often to lift weights. It is important to give your muscle groups a break and have a strategic plan. Lastly, we will show our members a variety of exercises for each muscle group so they do not get bored doing the same routine every week.

• What to bring
Loose fitting or athletic clothing. No jeans, tank tops or sports bras.
Indoor shoes that have not been worn outside.
Water bottle
Towel and change of clothes if you want to shower after.

• Important to know
We will have waivers on hand - each night of the Meet Up - for people to fill out and sign.
