    A 6 Mile walk social circular stroll around Lowdham via Ferry Farm Country Park. Route details: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/716174 Join us for a friendly and social lunch afterward. Everyone is welcome - it is suitable for all ability levels as there will be catching up points, and the group is very friendly and social - so if its your first time, or you are returning you can be sure that you will be made very welcome. Please do not race ahead of the walk leaders as you could easily go off route and not be able to find us, and we will pause regularly for any slower walkers to catch up and get their breaths back. PS. Why not bring a plastic bag with you and help us to leave the area better than we found it? You can do this by picking up any litter you see on the route (if safe to do so). Deposit the bag later in a bin on route or in town. Bending down is great exercise too! Nottingham City Transport Pathfinder 100 Bus leaves Nottingham 1005 from King Street K1 or Victoria Centre V4 at 1008 to Lowdham War Memorial 1040 buses back from Lowdham at :18 mins past hour to Nottingham. A single journey costs 拢3.40 or return 拢5.20.

They do a superb Sunday roast and lots of other choices too.     A quick-paced mostly flat 5 mile walk with catching up points at major junctions for any slower walkers. Dogs (on leads), and kids are also welcome. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, as it may be cold, and some surfaces can be slippy. Please do not race ahead of the walk leaders as you could easily go off route and not be able to find us, and we will pause regularly for any slower walkers to catch up and get their breaths back.   • River Leen to Nottingham City Centre - Boxing Day 7 Mile Walk- Level One
    Burn off Christmas overindulgence with a gentle Boxing Day linear seven-mile level one walk from Bulwell to Nottingham via the River Leen. Meeting at the Old Market Square tramstop we will catch the tram to Bulwell before walking back to the start point at Nottingham's Old Market Square. Alternatively people can join the walk at Bulwell Railway Station/Tram Stop were we will set off from at 12.30pm Our route takes us along the River Leen, through the Forest Recreation Ground and the Arboretum before arriving back at The Old Market Square. Tram fares are 拢2.20 single or 拢1.80 with a Robin Hood/Mango Card.
