Our guest instructor this month will be Kyle Hibbard - Stocks, Active Investor, Broad Market Analysis, and Hour with the Pros Instructor -
Kyle brings over 12 years' experience of actively trading equities, options, and futures markets. His entry into the financial arena began in 1996 while employed as a professional equities trader at a regional institution. He has traded for his own accounts since mid 1997 and he was privileged enough to trade with and learn from some of the best active traders in the country on various retail trading floors during the expansion and contraction of the tech cycle around the millennium. Though initially trained as an active intraday equities trader, he gradually expanded into other markets and longer timeframes through a process of self study, trial and error, and help from gracious market veterans. He is well versed in how to utilize a combination of intraday, swing, and longer term trades through various financial instruments.
Both independently and in institutional environments, Kyle has trained and mentored many traders of all types, both domestically and abroad. He has previously held NASD series 7, 63 and 55 licenses and has experience educating and actively managing institutional trading groups. He spent several years actively managing a hedge fund of which he was the primary equity holder. He has published private and internal institutional newsletters and advisory services and has also contributed to various business talk radio programs.
In the classroom, as well as in his own trading, Kyle adopts a “keep it simple” approach which results in a high degree of efficacy both in market interactions as well as the student learning experience. Through a conveyance of his many years of personal experiences, he helps students focus on the most crucial aspects of trading. He really stresses entry points as one of the most critical components to a trade while at the same time adhering to strict risk mitigation principles. In addition, he emphasizes the importance of understanding market dynamics and mechanics while highlighting the significance of psychology. He knows the skill set required for success in this industry and he goes to great lengths to make sure that every class member acquires them.
Kyle derives great personal satisfaction from helping people take control of their future and gain financial independence by giving them the tools to appropriately interface with markets to generate income and build wealth.
