What we're about

The goal of the group is to get out and move while always enjoying ourselves . Lets build friendships while having fun. Some of our events will be walking, hiking, beach walking, bowling, bike riding, movie going, dancing, skating, horse back riding, bus trips and tours, museums, and road trips. From time to time, lets sit down and do some crafts and get to know each other better. Events can be set up by any one in the group and is encouraged. Just let me know what you'd like to do, where and when and I'll post it.

Guided Meditation- It's not about breathing or clearing your mind

Come experience guided meditation. Unlike breathing meditations where you strive to clear your mind, guided meditation is just the opposite. You will be filling your mind with beautiful images and visualizations. We'll do a body scan meditation first, (these are meditations to relax your mind and body), and then a couple of guided ones. Did you know that there are many different kinds of body scan and guided meditations? Here are a few examples: We can relax on a tropical beach, or swim with the dolphins. We could have a hot air balloon adventure or relax by a healing waterfall. We could heal our body image, or let go of the past. We could cozy up with some sleep meditations. Maybe we could stroll through a garden or lush forest and have a conversation with our inner self. Maybe we could find our life purpose or meet our guardian angel or spirit animal. There are 12 step meditations and light body meditations. Even meditations that have you talking with the saints and conversations with Jesus. They're are dream meditations where you create any life you want and create any outcome. Truly the list goes on and on. Each month I will expose you to several different variations. If you want, after each meditation we can discuss which ones you liked or didn't like and what you got out of them. Studio Z Fitness has lovingly invited Untethered Potential to use their studio for our meditations. You can choose to sit in a chair or on a Swiss ball or you can lie down on a mat. We have mats but you can choose to bring your own. Bring a pillow and even a blanket and some water and get comfortable. If you RSVP and then decide you can't come please give me at least an hour notice. I don't have access to meetup at the studio and I won't know your not coming and we'll be waiting for you.
