In the face of reason, logic and responsibility we often negate the creative reflex as silly or impractical, especially in a work context. Creativity invites of us to open up and to loosen preconceived ideas, to cast the net of possibility wider, to value and explore outrageous ideas of our own and of others. Creativity has a bold invitation - step out of our comfort zone and into an expansive and playful discovery zone, to let ourselves not know and be open to what emerges.

During this Meetup session you will - have fun and laugh - playfully connect with others - get energised - understand some of the science of creativity - engage with practices to engage and move your creative juices - identify specific steps that activate your creativity.

This invitation is to step away from your everyday routine and come on a creative adventure to a creative space - Nauti Studios.
Wear comfortable clothing and there will be teas to drink in a break.

A little about me -
Johanna is passionate advocate for the complementary relationship of communication and the performing arts. For Johanna the central core of performance has always been about authentic connection and communication. For over 25 years she has been engaged as a performer and ensemble collaborator on various award-winning improvised theater projects both nationally and internationally. She has completed studies in Theatre and Movement, Communications, Coaching and Training, she has a black and brown belt and received a silver medal in martial arts and she has spent decades researching the expansive path of improvisation and story. Drawing on the centuries-old story sharing and theatre practices she uses the performing arts, communication and creativity to meet distinct learning outcomes for companies around the world. She facilitates Leadership Presence training programs throughout the Asia Pacific region, with The Ariel Group, a leading Executive Training Company. In addition, she also designs and delivers her own Communication, Coaching and Presentation programs for a range of clients.
