Fortune's Cove Hike-4 to 5 Miles-Plus A Stop At Wood Ridge Farm Brewery

For our adventure on this day, we will hike the inner circuit trail at Fortune's Cove Nature Conservancy in Nelson County. This trail meanders in and out of several coves and passes by a couple of streams and picturesque cascades too. The total elevation change for our hike will be approximately 800 feet. At the highest elevation point of our hike, there will also be a really nice scenic view of the meadow below us and in the distance the taller peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This vantage point provides a nice opportunity for pictures and taking a snack break. At the conclusion of our hike, and for those who are interested, we will stop by Wood Ridge Farm Brewery - https://woodridgefarmbreweryva.com/home - to share some snack food and maybe get in a game or two of corn hole. I have some other fun group related outdoor games that I may bring with me to.
