Moderate hike, on the AT, with rocky terrain and a couple tough climbs to get to Hanging Rock with 270 degree views of the valleys and the Priest. Some would say moderately strenuous. Prerequisite - please have hiked at least 7 mountain miles. Great views.

Park at Reid's Gap, MP 13.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the intersection with Va

From Cville, it takes about 50 minutes to go Rt 250 to Rt 151 thru Nellysford to Rt 664 up to the BRP.
