Bike Ride - Virginia Capital Trail - 23 Miles + Stop At Upper Shirley Vineyards

Details

Lets get in a bike ride on the Capital Trail. This is a beautiful, meandering paved bike path that is layed out between Richmond and Williamsburg, VA. The entire trail is 52-Miles in length. For this out-and-back bicycle ride, we’ll depart from Four Mile Creek Trailhead and take the Capital Trail about 10 miles to Shirley Plantation Road and then Upper Shirley Vineyards on the banks of the James River. Upon arrival, we may have wine and snacks and/or lunch. And for those of you who want to you can walk around the grounds and explore this beautiful winery location. We will then bike the 11.5 mile return to Four Mile Creek Trailhead for a total ride of 23 miles. Are you game? Then join us for this fun and casual bicycling excursion.
