Hike Highlights - Terrapin Mountain Trail, Multiple Rock Outcroppings, Winter Vistas and Views, Camping Gap, Reed Creek, Meadow Creek
Disclaimer #1 - This is a new strenuous hike for me. Since this hike is a new strenuous hike for me with no prehike, all hikers are going to be vetted in the same manner as with strenuous hikes. Hikers, who have not hiked a strenuous hike with me, will need to answer the following questions.
- How often do you hike?
- What strenuous hikes have you done?
- When and what was the last strenuous hike that you completed?
The answers to the above vetting questions need to be emailed to at patrickcory@hotmail.com or via Meetup Messages within one week of the RSVP. Failure to answer the vetting questions within one week will move those hikers from the wait list to NOT GOING.
Hike Details - We are going to start the hike by forming carpools shortly before 8 AM at the Fontaine Research Park. We are going to make our way down to the Terrapin Mountain trailhead. From the trailhead, we are going to follow the hike as described below in the hike link for the Terrapin Mountain Circuit Hike.

As is tradition with my hikes, there will be an optional post hike at a local restaurant or brewery. Carpools can be arranged accordingly for those, who wish to partake in the post hike.
What to Bring - Broken in hiking boots, trekking poles, beanies and gloves, layers of clothing for cold mountain hiking, camera/phone, $8 for your driver if not driving, possibly traction if snow or ice has fallen, a good day pack, first aid kit
