After work hike on Umstead's Sal's Branch Trail

It won't be long before an after work hike ends in the dark — we'll explore why that can be a good thing in a month or so. But on this hike we'll enjoy the late afternoon/early evening light on a 3-mile hike on Sal's Branch Trail. Minimal understory in this part of Umstead State Park let's additional sunlight filter through, making Sal's Branch an especially attractive late-day hike.
