Don't you know? Microservices are the latest trend 😎

Everyone wants to migrate to this new architecture to reduce coupling, deploy independently, etc.
But quite often, these promises won't be fulfilled... due to synchronous dependencies.

Lucky for us, Santiago is migrating himself all the way from Lottoland Málaga to tell us about reactive microservices architecture, which provides a new persistence and communication model, allowing services to be decoupled in time 🕒

Santiago will take us through the following solutions:

• Asynchronous communication

• Event sourcing

• CQRS

Helena Mercer, Marketing Technologist @ Mansion: “Make a thing! Intro to 3D printing”

A light and easy demonstration of the absolute basics of designing and printing your own 3d model (or someone else’s). She will be using Tinkercad – 3d software so simple your mum could use it – as well as taking a quick looking at Thingiverse, talking a bit about printers, and troubleshooting a bad print.

Helena will of course be printing a real, one-of-a-kind THING during the talk – and one lucky Gib Dev will get to take it home with them!
