What we're about

This photography group is for anyone who has an interest in photography and wants to get out and take pictures. We are an active group that loves to go out and take pictures of almost anything. Our emphasis is taking pictures, and then taking some more. We do not have monthly meetings or photography critiques, although we do encourage our members to share their pictures of our adventures on the group album. Our emphasis is focused on getting out of the house and having fun with your equipment taking pictures. Everyone is welcome, from professionals to novices as long as you have an interest in photography and are willing to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with other like minded people. We are all about the love of photography and having fun while doing it. Our members are required to post up their name and a picture of themselves to participate in our meetups. After all, this is about sharing in your passion with other like minded people and if we don't know who you are it's going to be fairly difficult to meet and get to know you.

If you are the type of person who doesn't want others to know what equipment you used, where you like to take pictures, or what settings you used to create a certain photograph then this probably isn't the group for you. On the other hand, if you like taking pictures, meeting new people, and want to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with others, you will most likely fit in just fine. The cost to join this group is $5 per year to keep the group running. You truly will get out of the group what you are willing to put into it with your time, knowledge, and positive attitude. Go ahead, make the jump, and join us for good times and memorable photographs!
