Details

We're so excited to offer an Intro to Swift class! The class will be instructed by Jeff Linwood (http://www.jefflinwood.com/about/), a mobile application developer.

You do not need any programming experience for this class.
You will need a recent Mac laptop with Xcode 8 (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xcode/id497799835?mt=12) installed. It is a very large application, so it must be downloaded from the Apple App Store in advance. Unfortunately, Apple's iPhone app development tools do not run on Windows computers, and most of this class will consist of exercises done on your personal Mac. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions about installing Xcode.

If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship. (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1fG1CubFzr0-bUVJFSRdDi5OIKOOR_qR6rDt9nFvLbVc/viewform)

Location & Parking

400 W 15th Street is the Moody Bank building at the corner of 15th and Guadalupe.

Park in the garage just north of the building off Guadalupe. It's across the street from the Clay Pit and has a "Deloitte" sign. GE will provide parking passes so that you will not need to pay when you exit.

The third floor of the parking garage connects to the building. From there, take an elevator to the tenth floor.
