Introduction to AngularJS (Angular 1.x)

This workshop is an introduction to AngularJS, an MVC framework that was created by Google and is now one of the most popular frameworks. AngularJS helps you create large data-driven webapps with dynamic interfaces.
We'll start with what is AngularJS and why you might want to use it. And dive into the parts that makes an Angular applications including: Controllers, Directives, Services, and helpful skills like debugging your angular app, animation resources and open source directives!
CLASS DATES
This is a single day, 4-hour class which runs on
Sunday, October 14th from 12pm - 4pm
PREREQUISITES
You should be fairly familiar with using JavaScript with the DOM. If you attended one of our previous Intro to JS classes, that would qualify as a great primer. If not, you should have similar experience from self study or another workshop. Familiarity with other frameworks is helpful but not required.
REQUIREMENTS
At this time, you will need to provide your own laptop - PC or Mac - to participate in the course. Note: A netbook or tablet is NOT a substitute.
Please note that you must be 18 years or older to attend this class. We cannot provide instruction to anyone under 18 years of age.
PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION
Your payment of $40 guarantees your seat in the course. If something changes after registration and you cannot attend the course, your seat is yours to sell or give to someone else-- just let us know who!
