Code & Coffee at Capital One Lincoln Park
We're all learning to code, whether you've just decided to get started or you've been at it for years. Come hang out for a couple of hours each month with some friendly fellow coders. All languages and skill levels welcome. Bring a project you're working on or jump in on some pair exercises. Will you learn something new this week or be the one teaching? Probably both! Bring your own laptop and find out. Thanks to our host and partner, Capital One (http://www.capitalone.com/), the cafe is an inviting space where you can go to bank, get answers to your financial questions, recharge your devices, or just connect with people. They're sharing their space and their beverages with us. There are Divvy Stations near by, and the location is just off the Red Line or 8 Bus Route. This location is wheelchair accessible. • What to bring Laptop and a mindset to meet new people! • Important to know RSVPs open one week prior to the event date! So make sure you sign up and add it to your calendar! Questions?: If you have any questions please contact us at [masked] Age Limit: Our program and curriculum are geared toward adults 18 and over. What we're about

Girl Develop It is a national nonprofit organization that exists to provide affordable and accessible programs to women who want to learn software development through mentorship and hands-on instruction.

Our vision is to create a network of empowered women who feel confident in their abilities to code and build beautiful web and mobile applications. By teaching women around the world from diverse backgrounds to learn software development, we can help women improve their careers and confidence in their everyday lives.

Thank you for supporting Girl Develop It on our mission to make software development easy, affordable and accessible to all women. Your contribution (http://girldevelopit.com/donate) helps us expand our mission to create great programs and opportunities for women learning to code.

Note: While we focus our mission and messaging to women, we're women inclusive, not women only.
