Want to learn how to create your own data visualizations besides using Excel or PowerPoint?

Data visualization can be a critical tool for business. This class will serve as a six-session introduction on visual techniques based on describing, analyzing, and communicating data. We will cover an overview of Tableau, its software, and how to install the Tableau software. The class will focus on how to load data into Tableau, create quick visualizations, and design a simple dashboard. There will be a small project on designing a dashboard with steps outlined throughout course.

This 6-class Intro to Tableau course runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The following dates are:
- September 17, 19, 24, 26
- October 1, October 3

Due to the restrictions of Meetup's registration, we can't schedule multi-day events, so keep in mind that this Meetup event serves as six-session registration for the entire class.

Please bring/install the following on your computer prior to class:

• Your laptop and charger with Tableau Public (free) pre-installed. Below is a link to the 14-day Tableau trial.
