Details

In our last library workshop we learned some HTML; this time we'll be delving into CSS! CSS styles our HTML and gives us the power to make our websites beautiful. This hands-on workshop will be beginner-friendly.

Note: This will truly be an introductory class. If you’ve taken GDI’s Intro to HTML & CSS or any equivalent classes and successfully completed the exercises, this workshop is not for you.

LOCATION:

Detroit Public Library (Main Branch) - TLC Lab

INSTRUCTOR:

This course will be taught by Jeseekia Vaughn.

PARKING:

Metered street parking on Cass, Woodward, Putnam and Kirby Avenues. Free parking in the library staff lot on the south side of the Main Library, all day on Saturdays. Lot is accessible from Putnam Avenue via Cass Avenue. Customers must then use either the Cass or the Woodward entrance.

WHAT TO BRING:

We will be using the library's computer lab, so no need to bring a laptop. Pen & paper for taking notes are recommended.
